LAUNCHING COY'S WAY PROGRAM
SERVING COMMUNITIES IN GEORGIA & OHIO
MISSION: IMPACT 1,000 YOUTH

COY'S STORY
Coy's Place was founded to honor the legacy of Lloyd "Coy" McCoy Jr., whose bright young life was tragically cut short at just 11 years old in a 2009 drive-by shooting.
Driven by this profound loss, Marion Cato created this organization to ensure no more young lives are stolen by systemic violence and socioeconomic inequality. We intervene early—providing at-risk male youth with the mentorship, safe housing, and life skills they desperately need to rewrite their futures instead of repeating history.
"Coy's life is why this mission exists."
